VI. Operating Instructions & Precautions
 
1. Quick Start
Placement: The cabinet must be placed on a level, sturdy surface. Leave at least 20 cm of space behind the cabinet for moisture exhaust.
No‑Load Operation: When using the cabinet for the first time or after a long shutdown, operate it empty for at least 12 hours. Wait until the humidity drops to the target value before loading items.
 
2. Humidity Setting & Calibration
Display Panel:
Green LED – displays current temperature (non‑adjustable).
Red LED – displays current humidity (adjustable).
Setting Humidity: Briefly press the UP or DOWN key, adjust to the desired number, then release.
Calibration Mode: Press and hold the UP or DOWN key for 3 seconds to manually calibrate the displayed humidity value.
Reset to Factory Defaults: Press and hold both UP and DOWN keys simultaneously; the humidity display will reset to factory settings.
 
3. Operational Precautions
Environmental Restrictions: Do not place the cabinet near air conditioner vents, exhaust fans, in damp or high‑humidity areas, or in direct sunlight.
